Like the other All League teams, this is based mostly on offensive contributions. Age will also play a role in the selection, as a strong season from a 20 year old is more impressive than a great season by a 23 year old.

Catcher - Carlos Ramirez

The Angels catcher hit an incredible .376/.500/.638 on the season. The 21 year old had an 18.4% walk rate and a 13.7% strikeout rate. To top it off, he also threw out 32% of would be base stealers.

Honorable Mention: Gorman Erickson

First Base - Paul Goldschmidt

Honorable Mention: Dillon Baird

Second Base - Jean Segura

The Angels 19 year old is a bit of a rarity, as he throws left handed but plays second base. Segura hit .352/.395/.519  and he also would steal 9 bases while posting identical 6.2% walk and strikeout rates.

Honorable Mention: David Nick

Shortstop - Deivy Batista

The Royals shortstop prospect hit .262/.309/.500 for Idaho Falls. The 21 year old didn’t show good plate discipline with 19 walks and 68 strikeouts, but he hit for a lot of power. Batista’s .238 isolated power ranked 7th best in the league.
